Does a CoreESIM plan for the Russian Federation provision a local +7 phone number?

Updated April 22, 2026

CoreESIM offerings for the Russian Federation are provisioned exclusively for data services. These plans do not include a local Russian telephone number (i.e., a +7 prefix). Your existing cellular number remains active on your primary SIM for traditional voice and SMS. Data-dependent communication applications, such as WhatsApp, Telegram, and Apple iMessage, will function seamlessly over the CoreESIM data connection, allowing you to maintain contact without disruption.
