Will I lose CheapESIM signal on the ferry between Antigua and Barbuda?

Updated April 22, 2026

While CheapESIM provides strong signal at the ferry docks in St. John's and upon arrival in Barbuda, it's common for mobile signal to diminish or temporarily drop when you are far out in the open ocean during the crossing. This is a limitation of all mobile networks. However, you can expect connectivity to resume as you approach either island. This brief interruption is a small trade-off for the cost-effective connectivity you receive on land, ensuring you're ready to go once you reach your destination.
